Afternoon in Notting Hill

My new site has been up and running for a couple of weeks and although there’s still a few tweaks to make with the template, I must say that I am really pleased with it! It is a bit unusual but I like that it has kind of magazine style layout. What do you think?

In addition to the new layout the other major change has been new categories (such as “Lifestyle and Travel”) and today I’m going to take baby steps by introducing a little bit of London in addition to my outfits.  I would really love to hear from you guys what you think about it and what kind of places you would like to see in the upcoming posts?

Notting Hill doesn’t need much introduction. The stylish upper-class area was made famous by the movie, funnily enough called Notting Hill and is the home of luxury boutiques like, Paul’s Smith and Club Monaco. What fascinates me most about Notting Hill is the black and white architecture spiced with a few pastel coloured buildings every now and then. I just love walking around and taking photos.. 🙂

I met with my blogger friend Hanna for breakfast at Café 202 in Westbourne Grove. It’s a stylish Parisian style café with a designer boutique downstairs and lovely terrace outside – perfect for people watching. 😉 However, I must say that the food is a bit over priced compared to the size of portions.

This is one of the most effortless dresses that I’ve got in my wardrobe, I love it that much that I’ve got it in red too – check it out here. It is just so easy to transform from a day to an evening occasion by changing a few accessories. For this look I added a lace top underneath.

Seeing these cute, colourful houses really cheers me up. Many of the streets in Notting Hill boast delightful houses such as these, but Portobello Road Market is probably the best area to go to if you are looking for the best place to snap a photo of them. The market itself is also one of the must go places at the weekend but I am going to save that for another upcoming post.

I would like to hear from you: Which area of London would you like to see in upcoming posts? x

Kiitos mukavasta jutusta. Mekko on kiva, luulin että pitsi kuuluu siihen. Sopii hyvin.
Notting Hill on kaunis paikka taloineen, “must see” ja löysinhän leffassa olleen kirjakaupankin 😉 Olisi mukava lukea eri kaupunginosista, koska muutaman päivän turistimatkalla tulee nähtyä vain kuuluisimman kohtet ja paljon jää näkemättä.
